    The RKC Instructor has demonstrated a high proficiency in the most essential kettlebell drills and shown an ability to effectively teach kettlebell use to others.

    RKC instructors are required to recertify every two years by attendance at a kettlebell certification workshop, either as a participant or in the role of an assistant instructor.

Philosophy



If you were standing in front of a 6ft. fence, could you get over it?  What is your current fitness level?  Are you stuck behind that fence, can you just barely get over, or can you laugh and scale it without even thingking about it?  That metaphor is what brought 6FT. FITNESS to life.  Not that I really care about someone’s ability to scale a fence, but more so about the sad truth regarding fitness today.  It has become acceptable to be overweight and out of shape.  Probably because no one thinks its their fault.  Well, it is your fault and the only real excuse is that its too hard!  Its hard to be in shape, to be in “real” shape. 

As discouraging as that may sound, all is not lost.  There is a revolution occurring, one that is going on relatively unseen and unheard.  The select few who see the problem and possess what it takes to do something about it are uniting together.  They are quiting their over-priced gyms and taking to their basements and garages.  They are swinging Kettlebells, flipping tires, and throwing sandbags.  They are pursing the goal of “true” fitness and strength, not just looking like a bloated roid freak or a pencil thin model.  They are dripping sweat, shedding tears, spilling blood, and loving every minute of it!

There is no single path to the goal, however there have been some who have forged trails of their own and kicked ass along the way.  The Pavel Tsatsoulines and the Mark Twights of the world.  They have started the revolution and we are the ones who must continue it.  Through back to the basics gyms that might be small in size, but big in ideas, goals, and determination.  Gyms that have cut the crap and are not afraid to try something new, or old for that matter.  So if this all makes sense, join the 6ft. Revolution or find one like it.  Ray Johnson’s gym IRON FITNESS EXTREMES out of Burr Ridge, IL shares our ideas, lets see "How you measure up!!!"
